I currently have two projects on the go alongside making samples for upcoming workshops and demonstrations.

First is a Bucks Point piece from Louise West’s Bucks Point Lace Workbook. I’m working on the bookmark with honeycomb and mayflowers (chapter 9).

I’ve also started a Honiton flower from the Dryad pattern pack set 4 by Raie Clare. These packs are from the early 1980s and are out-of-print now but there may be second hand copies available online.

I felt that I’d been neglecting both Bucks Point and Honiton for a while and was keen to get back to them. I started both projects at once, so progress is slow but I’m loving working on them both.

The photo was taken at Bronte Parsonage last month where I (happily) didn’t have much chance to work on either piece as I was too busy demonstrating.
